Nestled in Langen am Arlberg, Haus Jochum is an absolute gem for anyone craving a cozy base to explore the stunning Austrian Alps. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the host, who swiftly became like a friend rather than just an innkeeper. The family suite was impeccably clean and comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after our adventurous days. It's a short walk to the bus stop, so we easily jumped on the free ski bus to hit the slopes of St Anton and Lech-Zürs, which was a definite highlight! Breakfast was a delightful experience; it featured fresh farm produce, including the quirky addition of boiled quail eggs. Who knew breakfast could feel so gourmet? Plus, with several hiking trails nearby, it's hard not to fall in love with the surrounding wilderness. With good value for money and all the comforts of home, it's clear I'll be returning to this warm slice of Austrian hospitality. If you're in the mood for exploration or just unwinding in nature, Haus Jochum is a perfect spot to do both.
